Founded in 2007, Perfect Locks is an established hair extension company in the Bay Area looking for a unique candidate to fill an immediate full-time opening in our Customer Service/Warehouse Department in our new corporate offices and flagship showroom in Walnut Creek, CA.
Customer Service/Warehouse Associate Role
The ideal candidate for this position will assist customers by phone, pick and pack hair extension orders, along with other related tasks which assist smoothly operating the business. Activities include responding to inquiries via e-mail and phone, processing receipts, orders, handling customer complaints/questions in a prompt, courteous and effective manner. This position is responsible for protecting and maintaining our commitment to the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

This position contributes to the growth of the company by cultivating customer relationships with responsiveness, respect, and communication. The representative works both independently and as part of a team to reach our customer satisfaction goals.

We have full-time and part-time positions available between the hours of 8:30am to 6pm Monday through Saturday.
Requirements:
- Experience with quickly resolving customer issues, ensuring customer retention and satisfaction
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, verbally and in writing
- Must be able to multitask in our office, warehouse and retail environment
- Computer savvy, with specific experience with Microsoft Office
- Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
- Demonstrates a passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers
- Extremely organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time
- Has a “thick skin” - able to handle complaints and unpleasant customers
- Possesses a pleasant, patient and friendly attitude
- Superior decision making and analytical abilities
- Strong detail orientation and communication/listening skills
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overtime, as needed
- Possesses a strong work ethic and team player mentality
- A cosmetology license is not required, but is considered a major plus!
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Handle incoming/outbound phone calls, customer inquiries and order taking
- Picks and packs order with the utmost accuracy and care
- Washes and conditions hair extensions when new shipments come in
- Inventory management and stock checks
- Ability to close sales over the phone and retail store
- Process credit card transactions
- Oversee quality checks, order accuracy, and order consistency
- Show initiative by identifying and analyzing problems and proposing acceptable solutions
- Respond to customers' questions through email effectively and professionally
- Verifiable references
